26 days and counting

I was in a mva on the 9th of march 2013, the cause of the accident is until today unknown to me
as is have sufferd a concussion the week before the mva and sufferd head injuries in the mva.
Sins then i have been struggling with MIWAY INSURANCE to settle my claim, it is now 26 days
since the accident, we dont have a second vehicle and had to borrow one just so my wife could get to work (if been book off for a month)
we have to give back the vehicle on sunday, then my wife is stranded. My problem is why does this take so long, if been nothing but
honest in the prosess and gave all my co-operation to my abillitys regarding the matter, my premuims is paid up an d havnt skipt one month
yet it feels like miway is looking for a reason not to settle this matter. It is a inconviniance and only places more stress on myself
therefore im not on a speedy recovery. How long must this be dragged out? Is this fair? Should i seek legal help?
Or must i just sit back and be treated like the " criminal " in the matter?
