Can't reset online banking password via website!!

Last week when accessing her online banking, the FNB site told my wife that her password was incorrect. She has the password saved on her cellphone and it couldn't possibly have been wrong. Thinking that she had made a typing error, she entered it 2 more times unsuccessfully, resulting in her account being blocked.

We tried using the Resetting Password facility on the website, but could not progress past the page where you need to enter a new password. I tried Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox and had the same issue with each of them. We tried calling the Online Banking number and followed all the suggested steps such as deleting history and cookies, changing advanced settings etc etc but it still won't work.

This is incredibly frustrating and I am amazed that FNB have been unable to resolve what seems like a simple problem. I have noticed that numerous people have complained about this on Hello Peter over the months but yet this problem persists. I am always raving about FNB's online banking services but this experience has left a bad impression.

A response stating that FNB apologises and has escalated the problem blah blah blah is not good enough.
