I had my bag on March 17th at 01:30am. I called Standard Bank right away to stop all the accounts and re-issue all the cards. I was told that the ATM card would be issued right away, and other cards (Prestige check card, credit card and garage card) will take max 7 working days for collection. I have not received any of my other cards till today though it's been 10 business days. It's been absolutely difficult to live without those cards as it means I must constantly carry quite a bit of cash with me. I contacted the Prestige enquiry email account about the 3 cards I really need. After one whole day, one reply simply forwarding it to the credit card enquiry email account without mentioning anything about check card and garage card. 2 days have been wasted. Another reply from card division enquiring about my passport number though I CLEARLY indicated it in my message. Another day wasted. I contacted my "dedicated" prestige banker. Auto-reply basically saying too busy to deal with my enquiry. No one seems to be taking accountability. I need a consultant who is CAPABLE OF PROVIDING SERVICES. So far, only times I received services are when I complained here. How sad is that?
