We have been with Dial Direct for three years now and for the first time submitted a claim as our car was in a accident which was not my fault the guy reversed into me. its been a week and we only today found out what the damages are worth. during all the hub bub I tried to find out where the vehicle was, at first no one could give me a straight answer. the lady I spoke to had a stroppy attitude and when I adjusted my attitude I was told that if I don't check my attitude then they will put the phone down and i can phone back later. why is it that when you join an insurance company then they are the nicest people on the planet but when it is time to payout and fix then there are no nice service people. we were also told that the car is still at their lot so repairs haven't even begun and the claim will only be completed next week. The accident happened last week Monday so it takes them two weeks to complete a claim and we only have a courtesy car for 15 days, where is the logic in that. Also they are requesting old policies from when we were on my mother-in-law's insurance, why now after 3 years of being with them? Are Insurance Companies not suppose make your life easier???
