SWITCHING TO FNB FOR TRAVEL LOUNGE BENEFITS

Business & Finance

I used the travel lounge at O.R. Tambo which is usually free, since October FNB has changed the rules. The new rules state that you need to make purchases on your cheque account (R5000) or Credit card (R3000). THESE AMOUNTS DO NOT INCLUDE DEBIT ORDERS. The bank manager herself was unaware of these new rules, these were amended by the company in charge of the lounge itself. The receptionist on duty did not bother to advise me if i qualified for a free visit or check my boarding pass (the previous procedure) and no sms notification was sent to my phone. I was charged R250-00 for a few biscuits and soda water and using the lounge for 15 minutes.
