Complaints from surety for loan

In 2010 I took out a student loan with standard bank for my first year at wits. It was done through my grandfather's personal financial advisor and he signed surety. I failed my year due to a truck accident in which time I spent two months in hospital. I've been paying back my loan since then, and have been constantly harassed by my surety and told that payments were not paid (after they had been paid) and that the bank is calling constantly after I specified upon changing my address and collecting a new card that my surety was NOT to be contacted in the event of my account's activity.
