Harassment over written of debt

I have contacted woolworths regarding this matter. they informed me that they have written the money of and i did not own them any money any longer. i have also asked them if they have a credit collector that i must deal with. and they said NO! the debt is WRITTEN OF!!!

i have never received any letters from you saying and proofing that woolworths asked you to collect this debt on their behalf. i have noticed that you have also decided to add a debt of a petrol card from 7 years ago to your collection list. this company had 3 years to do something about that, which they never did. this alone shows me that you are taking a chance on me and that i was the fool for paying you for almost a year believing i was doing the right thing.

i have also Google the consumer act, and i have found the following:

Reckless lending

Any credit provider that gives credit without considering whether a client can afford to repay the loan, may be guilty of reckless lending. There could be severe penalties and the credit provider may even lose the right to recover the debt.
