I have requested a settlement letter on my Vehicle Account with Absa in February 2013 and paid the exact amount on the letter. requested a paid up letter, and never got a response. after 2 weeks of phoning around and wasting MY money on them, i was told there is still an unsettled amount of R8.01. i then took the liberty of paying them R10.00. i have, in the meantime, requested the account to be closed, and i keep being sent back and forth to various departments, and everyone keeps pointing the finger to other the department to close my account. no one has taken the initiative to find out what is going on, and why no one has requested my account to be closed. we are now going on week 6, and i STILL haven't had any feedback from anyone from Absa regarding my account. i keep being told the request will take 3-5 working days bla bla bla.
i phoned again today, crying over the phone out of anger, and still i'm being told 3-5 working days... i logged a Complaint with Absa Action line, which i was told will take another 2 days. i need my documents to sell my car... and i cant sell my car if i don't have my documents.
i am SICK AND TIRED of phoning THEM everyday for the past 5 weeks.
