Absa messing me around with letter of confirmation

I had an absa credit card, fell into arrears and was put under arrangement so I have been paying it off monthly. I paid up my credit card last month and requested for account closure and a confirmation letter from Absa which states my account has been closed as I did not want any comebacks. I was told I would get emailed a confirmation letter within 3 working days. I made this call on the 28th of June 2013. Up until now I have not received a letter from Absa to confirm my account has been closed, I have phoned them numerous times since then and all the agents informed me that the letter will be sent. I last spoke to Claude and his manager and they promised they would send the letter last week before end of the day. When I followed up about non receipt, they sent me a print screen to say they sent request to some department of the other. Frankly I am sick and tired of phoning Absa just for a confirmation letter and being pushed from pillar to post and them overpromising and under delivering. This is a very bad reflection on them as an institution but also the way this query has been handled is appalling. I am highly upset with this matter.
