On the 15th of December my father withdrew money. He then noticed a lot of money were gone out of his account. We phoned the 24 hour line to stop the card. They told us to sort out this matter we had to go to the nearest branch (which is Wilkoppies Klerksdorp). Since it's weekend we could only go on the 17th Desember, the Monday. When we went to the branch we explained what happened. Obviously they didn't know how to handle the situation or what to do. We asked them how long it will take and they said they don't know. I explained to the lady Anna that we would really want to know, since it's Christmas and my father will be without money. I also aked how it is possible that they can draw way over your limit as well as you don't receive any sms via notify me. (I mean it's a valid point, what is the use then you have it right). The older lady Alta which was actually helping another customer said to me "my darling they can change the limits, it's not absa's fault"'. First of all don't call me darling and second of all, absa should probably take some kind of responsibility, put more security in place. Today is 15 January 2013 and still no answer, no phone call, no nothing??? Please help
