DO NOT BUY IPHONES FROM EBUCKS /INCREDIBLE CONNECTION. I purchased an iPhone 4S 16gig black from EBUCKS online on the 17th. iPhone arrived with courier on Tuesday. Firstly, it had a European plug. I started using from Thursday once I got the micro sim and struggled setting up with iTunes. Eventually managed for it to make and receive calls, but had constant hassles with intermittent signal and dropped calls. I booked an appt at Istore and they gave me a printout stating phone was from United Kingdom, sold:18/11/2011, and it was out of warranty status.
I bank with FNB and I am shocked that their EBUCKS partner would use suppliers who trick their customers by selling iPhones destined for the UK market. This is utter and deceit.
I called EBUCKS call centre at 16h15 25/-03-13 and was assisted by a very helpful gentleman called NISHEN. He understood exactly what I explained to him and assured me that he has emailed my complaint to a higher level and get back to me.
INCREDIBLE CONNECTION is the EBUCKS partner supplier for the iPhone. DO NOT BUY OUT OF WARRANTY USED IPHONES FROM ENGLAND WHICH THEY SUPPLY.
I am appalled at what has happened and will be contacting FNB as well.
