Service Non-delivery for Pensioners

We visited the East Rand Mall branch of Absa for my mother, who is a pensioner, to do some transactions. To my horror, the pensioner teller had closed the counter and all pensioners were forced to stand in a queue that took 30 minutes before being served. It is completely unacceptable that that teller should be closed. The pensioner teller should always be open and once all the pensioners are served, that teller can serve people from the general queue. This is not the first time this branch has transgressed in this regard, in fact I have complained several times about this. I think that it is time that head Office took action against this branch since clearly pensioners are blatantly disregarded when they need to stand for 30 minutes in the queue despite their physical frailty. I am absolutely disgusted that this is Absa's perspective towards pensioners. To add insult to injury Charmaine at the customer service counter said that pemsioners should come during the week and not on saturdays - is this Absa's stance on this? Disciplinary action should be taken against her for blatant disregard towards customers. I expct this to be rectified immediately
