My own bank with the worst rates

My plan was to keep my portfolio with one bank, i moved everything to FNB, only to realize that, like the glomail adverts their adds are a gimmick, i have dealings with FNB for more than 7 years and last year i finally moved my account completely over to FNB. i was rewarded in the following way, i applied for vehicle finance by walking into the bank in fourways, the documents i gave to them was not even handed to the vehicle finance consultants, i had to resend this, i am also not a first time buyer. My finance was approved, but the interest rate i was given was 3.5%!!! what a rip off!! you would expect your bank to reward you for being loyal! but it seems everybody is out to rip you of to make money. :) truly sad!! i requested a residual amount and the consultant informs me that i can't take a residual, so much for false advertising as on the FNB site on their calculator, you can add a balloon payment. so why lie?? this is the second incident i had with FNB, the first time they did not resolve the matter, not so much as a phone call even. this time around i will shop for finance, when it is approved i will move my account. i should have never left steve's bank. :)
