I applied for a business account online in November last year, which was supposed to be a hassle free process, but what a complete joke. It is now March and the account has still not been opened. Not because of any fault on our side, but purely because of FNB's incompetence. They eventually arranged for a courier to collect original documents from us after I begged them for months to come collect. These were collected 3 weeks ago. I emailed them multiple times after that and received no response. Turns out they are still with the courier in Durban? I then go into a branch where no one is able to assist because the account was opened online. Furthermore, even your own employees think you're a joke when they advise me never to open an account online because it is so problematic. We now have money in that account which we cannot transfer. We cannot get hold of anyone from FNB able to assist. Emails are ignored This equates to in my books as you are witholding the funds from us. I request immediate closure of that account and the money in that account to be transferred to my personal account which I will also be closing. I am utterly disgusted by this, it is sickening.
