Inferior repair/payout & valuation of ring claim

I lost my wedding ring last year. after being taken through a painful investigation process by OUtsurance, they agreed to have my ring replaced (but not pay out the amount the ring was insured for). I was referred to Jewellery Replacement Consultants in Rivonia, who manufactured an inferior item that is worth much less than my original valuation certificate. As we speak, one of the stones in my ring have fallen out and according to their certificate, it is only worth a third of what i paid for it, and what i had insured it for! :-(

I'm disappointed that OUTSURANCE insists on using this supplier, as i have seen other complaints of a similar nature. especially as they quoted my premium based on what my original valuation certificate was worth, not what JRC now says the replacement ring is worth.
