Forced to wait unrealistic times for clearances

I sold my car last week and I got paid by bank cheque. With any other bank it would've got cleared immediatly to three days maximum. When you bank at Capitec they enforce 15 days on all cheques which is just a way of forcing that they collect interest on your money for upto 15 days that you cannot use your own money. So here I sit waiting for my new car because I cant pay the deposit on it thanks to my bank. Maybe its better to move to beep bank.
