I had a homeloan with FNB Home Loans in around 2000 when I bought a flat in Morningside, this unit was sold in around 2003 and the homeloan was settled and closed. This being said, does FNB Homeloans then cede your policy back to you, NOOOOO, it is just left, after numerous calls, I have finally gotten through to the first person, who says I can pick up that you had a "One Account" homeloan, but I cant access it, you need to call this number 087 if you get cut off. I finally get through to the next person, whom says yes, I can see your account, but I can not access it because it is a dormant account (No S... Sherlock) ofcourse it is dormant, it was settled when the unit was sold!!! All I want is my policy back because I want to cancel it and Old Mutual will not cancel it because they want a letter from FNB!!! This truly leaves a bad taste in ones mouth!!!
