I contacted Platinum Life about a week ago in connection with a policy of mine. I was under the impression that this policy was on hold for a year but unfortunately this was an error from my side & the policy was only on hold for 3 months. I contacted the call centre to 'activate' my policy again but was told that it was cancelled. When I asked how this could've happened without me knowing I was told that an sms was sent to my phone stating the policy was cancelled.
I had 2 phones at the time & supposedly an sms was sent to both. I NEVER received the sms on either phone? If I received the sms I would've made a plan then!! Why did no one contact me if it was going to be cancelled?
I am told there's nothing they can do & all the money that went into this policy is now GONE!!
I was then put through to a manager which she told me the same thing that there's nothing that can be done.
After being in tears & desperate for something to be done, the manager tells me that she will go through the voice recordings & contact me back.
Now it's been about a week with no feedback!! Is this how you 'get rid of' your clients when you know there's no solution??
How professional???
