Complete unavailability in lieu of deadline

Dear Absa,

One would believe that your procurement department (Africa Sourcing) would be a reliable and competent one. Alas, this is not the case.

In light of tight deadlines and strict procedures issued in your bid documents, we have been unable to contact the person in charge of same for 3 days now! We have left numerous voice messages and have even tried to contact the remaining 4 persons in Africa Sourcing, as well as the General Manager. All of their phones go to voice mail. Do these people even work in their offices?

It is an unfortunate downward spiral that this country as a whole seems to be experiencing when it comes to service delivery. However, surely you would want to know whether a branch which carries your name is performing or not!?

I wish I got paid a salary to do nothing but pursue my own agenda.
