Refusal to refund extra payments made to home loan

I have paid in extra monthly premiums over and above my monthly installments and requested the refund of these amounts. This request has been lodged numerous times and Standard Bank Home Loans are 'declining' my request to refund me the excess monies paid over and above my installments which is in credit.
Never pay surplus funds into your Home Loan because they keep it.
