I hve been with momentum for -8-10yrs. i have claimed once in all that time. and that was cause some1 drove into me. yesterday my car was broken into through the boot. i had an overtime bag in the boot & it was . the value of my items were about R2600 and the lock of my boot is damaged. i called my insurance to confirm that i am covered. this was shortly after 5.30pm. i call the momentum 086006784 # and get put through to OUTSURANCE! i call again hold for 10 min on my cell then they drop the call. so there goes my airtime & no help from Momentum. i report the at the police station & receive a case # etc. call momentum this morning and am told i am not covered that is risk cover etc. which i dont have but for an extra cost they can cover me. & the damage on the boot lock i must pay an excess of R3000. so R285 a month with 1 claim over 10 yrs. no cash back bonus cause you get charged for that too cant cover me for my items that got from my locked boot in my car and the damages will cost an excess of R3000. is insurance not suppose to cover you. thats why we pay them every month correct? thanks for screwing me over Momentum. I'll make sure the word gets around.
