Money getting taken from my account

Recently i went to the garage to buy lunch. I swiped my card for about R38 and it was declined, yet i received the sms to say money had been taken anyway. Upon further inspection of the sms i realised R1000 had also been taken that morning. Standard Bank said it was an error on the Banks side where they had double debited me. That phone call cost me over R90 worth of airtime and i eventually had to speak to a manager. Now, just yesterday, i went to the garage near my work to draw money. There is no Standard Bank ATM nearby, so i used the ABSA one. I withdrew R1000, and although the machine didn't dispense any money, i received the sms to say the money had been taken off my account. I tried to draw at a different ATM later on that day and it told me my limit had been reached for the day, but i still had no money. So the transaction was declined. Both times it has been month end. Ive phoned yesterday and today and apparently nobody can help me, i must go in where they "may" be able to reimburse me. Yesterday when i phoned i was told to phone back today. This is very inconvenient and frustrating that it must take my own time and cost to sort out an issue on the banks side. Again
