Withdrawing cash from Greenstone Standard Bank was a pleasure, nobody about. Open Business Section Teller, straight in and out. The bank was not at all busy, left Greenstone and made our way to a Supplier. They were not expecting us, the minute we stopped gun wielding criminals were all over us. Demanding the MONEY, ALL THE MONEY, they knew we were carrying cash. In a state of panic and shock we were cleaned out. We will forever be grateful to our that we are alive today. Our opinion is that a tip off came from the Business Teller or someone in the Business Section. We lodged a complaint with Manageress Tersia, nothing to sign, no printed commitment and no reference number. Placed a call to Call Centre, Sharon Bahari contacted us, non committal, does not respond to an email. We contact Head Office Yasmin Bhoola takes up the Banks Cause but does not respond to an email, persistant calling gets her to admit she has passed on the complaint, perhaps File 13? We do not feel like Valued Clients and are nervous exposing ourselves to your tellers. Where is the CEO in all of this? Lip Service is not good enough, STD Bank we need written commitment that you are on our side.
