Incompetent Bank tellers

Although this email is directed @ 1 branch, ALL SA banks are guilty of employing the cheapest they can find to represent the business at front end.
Yesterday I went to the Killarney SB to cash R24, 000 chq. On front of chq, in pencil I wrote
"breakdown overleaf". I watched the teller observe details of breakdown & waited patiently while chq was cleared through normal channels.
Bank was empty. The 3 tellers sat chatting behind glass as I waited. Why couldn't my teller have started preparing my cash already?
When chq was cleared, I asked that money be given @ private teller cubicle. Teller was annoyed @ this. He only brought R200 notes (which I requested NONE of). Private teller cubicle junkyard for broken teller equipment, note counter not working properly. I kept suggesting it go faster if we count by hand, but it's probably "against policy" or some stupid such. He was R7, 000 short. I remind him of breakdown& got such dirty look. He fetch other note counter, mix of notes, we start again. Different note counter also not working but let him struggle. I always handcount to receive cash to check red stains. Again, this annoyed him so much. He LEFT me alone to finish counting!
