Withdrawal of matured endowment takes foreve

I have an endowment that matured in December 2012 and I want to encash it now. So for some unknown reason before you can do the withdrawal request you have to get a "QUOTE" from Discovery Invest first. Heaven knows why, as the quote states that it is not a firm quote because the prices are changing all the time! So I sent an email to [Email Removed] as requested and asked for the quote. Over 10 days later there is still no quote forthcoming and the market is busy falling every day thus losing me money. When I phoned the call centre to ask where the quote is and why it is taking so long the agent said she would escalate the request. 2 days later and I am still waiting! The first time I enquired about the call logged the agent said she could not find the call on the system (from the reference number given by the autoresponse to my email)! What a joke - talk about poor customer service and a bad attitude. Will Discovery refund me for the lost money due to the market fall in the 2 weeks they have delayed my withdrawal??? I am stopping all my policies with Discovery Invest due to this bad experience.
