Thumbs up for FNB!!!

My Fiancee and I are in the process of buying a house. We have applied for home loans at three different banks, but not FNB, as we were told that they do not consider applications from people who do not bank with them. On Thursday, 21 February, after not hearing anything from the other banks, we applied at FNB on the advice of a colleague of my fiancee. I submitted all the documents to Elizabeth at 11h40 Thursday morning.
Friday, 22 February at 12h08, she notified Charl that we have been approved in principal and at 12h49 he received an email with final approval from her! In this day & and age such service is absolutely unheard of!
I cannot thank her enough for her prompt response and friendly service. Granted, she admitted that getting a home loan approved in such a short time is not the norm.
By the way, we have not heard anything from the other three banks, where we do have accounts...
Guess who is changing to FNB?
