I applied for an increase in my revolving credit on Friday, 15th February 2013 which was approved immediately. I checked the bank and saw that it wasn't cleared so I visited the Sandton City branch where I applied and they said that there was a technical error on their side and it would be cleared on Monday, the 18th February 2013. i have been to the bank everyday since Monday and the funds have still not cleared. The staff at Standard Bank are very unhelpful and I have never once in this past week received a phone call, email or sms giving me any feedback on what the status is. I was advised that this was escalated which makes this worse because how can you expect good service from the staff if the managers cannot deal with it. i have been with standard bank since 2003 and would think that i am a valuable customer but i don't feel that way. Maybe i should try another bank...
