Outsurance
No getting any R400 out of them

I called Outsurance to get a quote after my current insurance upped my premiums by more than R150 without any claims. They offered me a quote that was R134 more than my new premiums from the current insurer (R288 more tha what I am currently paying). I then enquired about the R400 but they said that they can't give it to me because in the past they have given me a quote and I have never asked for it, even though in their records it does show that on that past occasion they still couldn't beat the current insurer. Their advertising is false and they do not want to part with the money because it suit them.
