I have had the worse experience with Nedbank. I have been a loyal client and can't believe in the bad service i have been receiving.

When i went on maternity leave in 2012, i could not afford to pay my full monthly installment on my loan. But i made arrangements with the bank to repay the arrears when i return to work.

I returned to work in August 2012 and Nedbank deducted my normal installment and an amount for the arrears (this was the arrangment made in August 2012). I was fine with that arrangement and have honoured it since.

In January 2013, Nedbank then decided... without consulting me... to deduct 3 debit orders from my account PLUS 2 debit orders for the arrears. They did not even give me an opportunity to make other arrangements. They did this because my account is in arrears.

I am still paying my installments every month and has not missed one payment. In January i could not pay my other accounts because of the huge amount of money Nedbank deducted from my account. This is not fair to me as a client.

They now refuse to refund me and the their reason is... YOUR ACCOUNT IS IN ARREARS... eventhough we have an arrangement in place to setlle the arrears.
