I applied for a loan at Legal loans on 27/12/2012. When I received the sms that it was approved I could not get through to the same number. So I looked for contact details on the internet. I e-mailed them for an alternative number. Their reply is as follows:

As per our previous correspondence, in order to comply with our internal operation regulations, it is important that you contact our call centre on 021-815-4699. Our skilled staff will be able to exercise any identity validation checks that may be required. Please note that we are unable to call you directly, as our internal regulations and the mandatory validation checks assist us to best serve you.
I however did not phone them back as I decided to make another plan. So the loan was not finalised and no premium was discussed. On end of January 2013 they debited my account with R350. When trying to email them to cancel everything and to refund me, all reply I get from them is that I MUST call them for a verval cancellation. When trying to phone (from a cell phone - prepaid) you are always on nr 17. I cancelled the debit through my bank and mailed them the notification
