Took out a Liberty Retrenchment Policy END jULY 2012 ONLY because when speaking to a JHB consultant - HE CONFIRMED VERBALLY NOT ONCE, BUT EVERY TIME I SPOKE TO HIM - AND ON RECORD!! that Liberty did NOT HAVE A WAITING PERIOD I had quite a few insurers lined up BUT THEY ALL HAD BETWEEN 3 - 6 MONTHS WAITING PERIOD - so... after speaking to this genius - NAME: CLAUDIUS MOTLHASEDI - he absolutely assured me that there was not a waiting period NOT EVEN 3 MONTHS I am very very secure - now my company can retrench us as I have cover for 6 months when it happens! In the 3rd month I speak to Claudius again and once again confirm that I am covered - he confirms yes retrenchment comes on the 31st December 2012 - and I am fine - Claudius Motlhasedi says send your retrenchment contract and confirmation "when I receive your documemts - it will take 10 working days to process" i RECEIVE A 5 liner mail from him "oh sorry, your claim has been rejected as it needed to be in force for 6 months-WHY ON EARTH WOULD I HAVE TAKEN OUT A LIB pol IF IT HAD A 6 Month waiting period - there is too much to write & not enough space - i have a full report - would like to be able to show it all
