Credit card cancelled without my permission

My credit card has been cancelled without my concern, i called the call center and they advised me to go the nearest branch with my Id and proof of residence.i went there i found this lady who was no willng to help me at all, she was lazy, the way she was sitting on the chair, she was like she was bored, very unprofessional.the manager end up telling her to call the call center and find out what was going on.she then called this Lorraine lady, they were busy laughing on the phone, still very unprofessional, she then told me that my card has been cancelled and that will be resolved within 48 hours.after 48hours i received and sms saying i need to call the call center because my issue has not yet resolved.i called them but i was holding on line for a long time, kept on transfering me to this agent and to another. My question is why would i cancell my credit card still paying for it.i am so dissapointed.please can somebody assist me and explain whats going on.
