I went on maternity leave last year and as I was on leave our company started having problems and nnto being able to pay us on time due to problems that mining companies have been having and therefore defaulted on my payments due to this matter.

I then got a call from a guy called Themba Mpungule who was assisting me with a respread and because I applied in November by December they had gone on leave. In January I called and they said my account had been accepted for a respread. the next day i got a call from a collections agent saying that they are going to take my car if i didnt pay them my arrears together with the legal fees. I asked the agent if I could make a payment of 7000 and he said its ok then i'll pay the rest month end. I paid it and they later changed and said no they want the full arrears or else they'll send a summons to uplift the asset.

I am very dissapointed with std bank and the way that they treat their clients. I've been their client since 2009 and i didnt expect such treatment and rudeness from them. I'm only left with a year to finish paying my asset and now they are coming up with such threats. Very disappointed especially with Sibongile Tsotetsi.
