On the 22nd of December 2012, i detected that my phone kept on restarting and was freezing. On the 23rd of December i then took it to MTN the glen for repairs. I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Lucas who assured me that the phone will be repaired within 7 to 10 workings and told me that it was minor issue and that my phone will probably be reset and be returned to me in no time. I assumed that since the phone was still under warranty that it would be sorted out by MTN and that there would be no need for me to claim from my insurance.

I called again on the 24th of January and the lady said that HTC repaired the phone and that i was being invoice R800 and I told the lady that how can that be since im under warranty. The lady asked me if i have insurance? I said yes... and she said that i needed to forward the details to my insurance provider. I called the CLAIMS customer number and spoke to Rozita Daniesl who said that I had to fill in a claim form which I did on the 25th of Jan 2013 and 4 DAYS LATER I WAS TOLD THAT MY CLAIM WAS DENIED BECAUSE I HAD EXCEEDED THE 30DAY WINDOW FROM 22DEC!!

I then queried this and they sent me another letter of deny stating NON ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE!
