I knew i had money left in my account, and upon going to the ATM i was shocked to see an availabe balance of R0.00.
i then got a statement and it showed that the amount that i swiped for at Checkers, almost a MONTH ago had only been debited off my account on 07/01/2013.
Standard Bank has take away the last bit of what i had, including my travelling fees, and also money into my OVER DRAFT which i do not even have, and are now in all probability going to charge me interset on that as well, which i do not intend paying as this was not my fault.
why was this transaction not pulled through earlier, basically let me "spend" the money that i didn't "have" and do this to me now. this is not the only time that i have experienced something like this, it was just that i had "enough" money in my account to get me through. this is extremely embarassing, and totally unacceptable! not once was i informed that there was an error that resulted in this, nor was i notified that there has been money taken out of my overdraft which will now ben taken off my next salary. you are killing me with your pathetic service issues. And my insurance also went off a day later-seriously!
