After atempting to register a flexi facility on our existing bond with absa online i noticed that i couldnt. unlike with FNB which i did online in minutes. after contacting the call centre TWICE and the branch i was told to go to my nearest branch to collect the forms to apply for the facility. NO SURPRIZE when i got to the Parow Centre branch that i was in a cue for 24 minutes afterwhich Alecia at client services informed me that she couldnt help and i need to go to reception to see a consultant... NO SURPRIZE when i get to reception that she says client services are supose to help me and NOT a consultant. so then i have to wait AGAIN to talk to Alecia who has just showed me away. now she informs me that all 3 parties has to be present when requesting a flexi facility on a bond. how do you expect 3 working people to be at a branch to apply for a facility??? why couldnt the call centre inform me of this to begin with. youre a waist of time and no wonder people are leaving you to go to FNB in droves!!! i did it 8 years ago and all my staff now bank with FNB. best decision ever.
