Long overdue unprocessed claim

I have submitted the additional requirements to AIG in October 2012 after i was doing a follow up on a claim that was submitted in July 2012. Since then, whenever ive managed to get hold of AIG Customer Service, which is very rare, ive been told the matter is being attended to.
I am sick and tired now as ive already wasted a fortune on telephone bills trying to contact AIG. I just want to be told one thing, as to whats going on with the matter. Its been seven months already, and no one has even bothered to contact and update me.
