I have never ever used Standard Bank before and now I am starting to believe there is a reason to it. I opened a normal savings account for my debit orders and was advised that i could swipe and withdraw from the same account. First incident @ KFC trying to swipe for R50 - delined. I then call the call centre and spoke to a gentleman who says this happens sometimes when you swipe the initially and I should try elsewhere. Okay next day at the party shop - declined. Same day at Makro whilst trying to withdraw - declined. The last two are cases of emergency and I had to pay cash for, I would hate to think what would have happened had I not had cash on me.

Now this is all I want I want the account closed. I will change my debit orders again. I have been inconveniencd and frustrated enough. Let me stick to the bank I know and understand.
