Credit Applications denied but cant be given reaso

I applied for an FNB credid card early January, and been told that my application was not successfull and i must contact ITC for the reasons as on their side shows that i am on debt review, i got out of debt review in 2010 october and all my accounts are in good stand, why this keeps on hounting me i dont understand, i am a client of FNB, and as my bank of choice i expect them to give me valid reasons for declining my aplications, you cant tell me that i have to call ITC for further explanation, ITC only reflect the info given by lenders NOT the other way round, besides tell me the main reason i cant be offered credit and stop reffering me to ITC and saying because i am/was on debt review previosly, if my bank cant assist me or give advise on what i have to do to increase my credit score who will??? like i said, all my accounts ae in good standing hence i am really puzzled why all this is happening
