Ever tried calling to get a settlement or copy of natis out of ABSA, you stand more chance of winning the lottery.
First you hold on the line for 10 minutes for someone to maybe pick up a phone there, by the way every other bank will answer within 2 minutes which is understandable, when someone eventually answers the call your at the wrong department even though you have dialled the right number and from there you get transfered from person to person while probally holding for another 20 minutes in between and eventually get told you cant be assisted when all you want to do is settle an account...
If you do by some chance manage to get a settlement amount goodluck recieving the physical letter by email or fax as for some reason it never gets to you while recieving hundreds of faxes and emails from other instutions.
The call centre is really a big joke and extreme irritation and the people in it are not in the slightest way interested to assist you, all they do is just transfer you on and not address the problem.
ABSA talks about customer service, you show me the service and how this is service...
I actually feel sorry for whoever has to bank with them and wish them luck...
