Let me start be telling you about Standard Bank Credit Card division - how pathetic and disgusted I am with their service and level of commitment to their customers. I settlement my credit card with them on the 07th December 2013. Spoke to Zandile at the legal department and she advised they received their money. I advised her that I did an extra payment into their account in error and would like a refund for this amount. Zandile told me that she has to wait for the payment of my credit card to clear with in 14 days and then she will attend to the refund. This was not done. I called back in January 2014 to speak to Zandile and was handed over to Phindile. I advised her of the error of the second payment she too confirmed that the payment was received and I requested a refund. She said she would assist but still nothing was done. Called back to speak to Phindile and she referred me through to her supervisor / team leader to assist. I spoke to Junaid Seedat and advised him again of the situation and he said he would assist. Requested my banking details and still nothing has happened till today.
It has now been 64 days that standard bank refuses to reimburse me.
