Loan cancelled yet being billed

Good day,

I made application for a loan on 04.02.2014. I was advised to forward outstanding documentation which I submitted 05.02.2014 just before 5pm. I received a call from Nicole Boltman on 06.02.2014 to confirm that she had received my documentation and that she was going to request to have the funds transferred before the close of business 06.02.2014. I received her call by 10 am. I then emailed her back at 10:44 on 06.02.2014 to advise that I no longer wish to accept the loan and for her to cancel the application. She then requested me to call customer care which I did, in order to have the transaction cancelled. I did this immediately. Now I have been advised that I have to contact them again when the funds have been deposited into my account as they are unable to reverse the transaction. I then have to have the monies paid back into their account - I don't have a problem with this as I wanted this cancelled anyway. I HAVE A PROBLEM THAT I WILL BE HELD LIABLE FOR A SETTLEMENT amount YET I called early in the morning to have this transaction cancelled!!! HOW DOES THIS WORK? I dont even have the money yet im being told to have to pay extra? What is your OMBUDSMANS details?
