Standard bank has not helped

I applied for a student loan at standardbank on the 16th of december 2013. After 2 weeks if waiting for a response i went to the branch myself and asked what was taking so long. Only to be told that the application was unsuccessful because of a W status in my sponsors vehicle account. As i delved deeper into the issue i found out that there was indeed a problem with the account which was settled 6 years ago! Yet there is still this status. My sponsors name has been cleared yet this keeps popping up, hindering me from getting the loan. There are many examples of the status being cleared as he has signed surety for a number of loans at this bank. I have logged many complaints and asked this matter to be resolved countless times, yet nothing has been done. All i get are empty promises of calls and notifications with regards to progress of this problem being rectified. I nowstart school next week with no funds, because if the incompetency of the fourways branch consultants.
