I just want to say that I am TERRIBLY disappointed with Standard Bank overall! Firstly, we applied for the Customer Assist service which promises "valued" clients assistance in getting out of dept by reconciling their debt..

We applied in beginning of December and was told it takes 15 working days... waited two months instead, phoning, just to be told to wait, wait and wait some more! Submitting and resubmitting the documentation (after struggling to obtain all of it from the various creditors!) after which we are plainly declined as a result of having too little money to qualify.

HALLOOO! Is that a freekin surprise!!? Thats the whole reason we are applying in the first place!
Could you not not see that and inform us before going through all the trouble?

Seriously, that is not only POOR service delivery (or the total lack thereof!) but false advertisement as well! You don't give a about your "valued" clients, you just want to waste our money!

What's the point of advertising something on which you cannot deliver? Or only help clients with enough money? It defies the whole purpose of your "helpful" service!

I would really like to hear some feedback...
