In June '13 I signed up to Discovery Life cover after I was called by a Blue Mercury FS Consultant. I had a policy with Metropolitan which the consultant advised that Blue Mercury will cancel it on my behalf. After a few months I realised that I was paying for 2 life covers which meant that the Metropolitan 1 (a stop order directly from my salary) wasn't cancelled as promised. I called around November and they promised to investigate and revert back to me within 24 hours which they never did. I then discontinued the Discover debit order as I couldn't pay for 2 life covers. Because I wanted to keep the Discovery life cover I called Blue Mercury again and spoke to Christopher Ncube towards the end of Nov 2013, he also promised to investigate and revert back to me, which he also never did. Today I called Discovery Head office and got no assistance. My predicament is that I still want to keep my Discovery life cover but I am told that I need to pay for the arrears irrespective of the fact that Blue Mercury misled me into thinking that they will cancel my existing policy, which then led to my discontinuing payments to Discovery debit order. Kindly advise so that we can close this chapte
