EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE

I went into FNB Davenport today to quickly deposit some money. The queues were out the door as usual being month end which is understandable. After waiting 2o mintues and the line not moving at all in the "Express Tellers" queue. Someone in the line decided to find the Brnach Manager only to be told by one of his own staff members that he was and I quote "..hiding on the floor above". There was only ONE yes people only ONE teller for 35 mintues (thats why the queue hardly moved!) Around 12.25 another teller came to a desk and the queue moved alittle faster, the response we all got was that "we are short staffed" what kind of an excuse is that!! We are paying customers - we are expecting some form of service as PAYING CUSTOMERS!!! After 52 minutes in the queue I was actually served and couldnt wait to get out of there as the bank was fulled to capacity. I went straight to ABSA bank and counted 15 people ahead of me and with 4 tellers serving their customers - I was in and out in ten minutes flat!! Maybe FNB should take note of what ABSA is doing and that is making their customers happy by providing the service that their customers are paying for!!! A Rossouw
