Alternator and diff not fully covered

Alternator broke - took car in for service - was identified that diff lock and alternator needs to undergo massive repairs - Alternator only covered for /- R300 out of possible R8000 - and difff only /- R8000 covered out of a possible R20000. Maybe we misunderstood the definition of bumper to bumper warranty
