It is now taking 3 months to get the issue resolved around cancelling their cession on one of my policies, serving as surety against my overdraft facility.
After numerous phone calls during the past three months, and after just as many empty promises to look into the matter and keep me up to date, and also after several personal visits to the bank when I could only see Brian on one occasion, I again today went to the bank, only to find him out of office again. A clerk offered to take my matter to the lady at the back (behind closed doors), who then sent me a message that she was not "mandated" to assist me in this dragging matter!! This, after I have personally signed a mandate letter, giving Nedbank permission to action this matter with my insurance company!! I did not know that I also had to give specific employees any mandates to assist a member of the public with an inquiry!!!
I am left with no other route to get my issue resolved, as all doors at Nedbank Tzaneen keep closing on me!!!
