Can't pay the loan due to retrenchment

I had a loan with the bank iwas retrench in 2011and I submitted the required documents to the bank. Insurance paid the loan for six months, my debit order was cancelled absa even paid the money they debited for two months while they we busy with the claim back to me.im still unemployed, very sick with cancer my sister is the one helping with payments for the treatment. Absa demand an arrangement of payment from me sending threats of collection. Im struggling to maintain myself and my child I can't make such arrangements. Can the bank please remove my name from credit berues as it my wish to get job or start my own business when I get better and solve the case as it delay my recovery course this issue makes me stress a lot.
