I recently had the experience of having to claim from my home owners policy due to a that had occured on my property. This was the greatest mistake ever. The money I have spent on the phone calls, holding for 20 mins, I could have allocated towards the replacement cost of my damage. Futhermore, Standard Bank goes on and on about being able to manage claims online but I have complained 4 times and I have had no responses. It goes to show how much they value the customers. The call centre agents are really unhelpful. I spoke to Laura today and asked her to call me before 1pm, 1 hour 30 mins later still no call... IM SHOCKED. I have explained time and time again that i need a decision as i have no water on my property because of this... one would think that this would be a priority as we need water to live. Trying to explain a misunderstanding to the call centre is like banging your head on a brick wall. Im really tired of this non service.
